My responsibility was to create a cohesive package and develop a launch campaign. The final product, Galactic Berry, was inspired by iconic 2-bit graphics, drawing influence from cult classics like Space Invaders and Galaga.

The Process
Starting with 5 concepts & lo-fi sketches.
5) The gold version with close-up detailed illustrations ended up being used for a different cherry version later on.
2) Galactic Berry taking inspiration from arcade game classics & 2-bit pixelated graphics.
1) Pulling from comic books & illustration techniques. This option moved to the next round.
4) Another option pulling from folk inspiration but with a mirrored illustration.
3) Wild Berry with illustrative graphics & utilizing a folk storybook style grid.
2 Finalists
Versions 1 & 2 above moved on. Including Berry Blast as a comic book concept & Galactic Berry with a 2-bit graphic focus. Galactic Berry won and we pushed the concept even further developing the launch plan and working with the animator to bring the story to life.
